شاركت جمعية "حماية الطبيعة في لبنان"موقعنا "إليسار نيوز" بهذا الفيديو الرائع المرفق مع بيان باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية وهو يوثق تكاثر طائر نادر في لبنان للمرة الأولى وجاء فيه:

"وثق الناشط البيئي والعضو في فريق جمعية "حماية الطبيعة في لبنان" ماهر أسطة بالفيديو، زوج من طائر الغطاس المتوج واسمه العلميPodiceps Cristatus ، وهما يطعمان فرخهما المحمول على ظهر احدهما، ويعد هذا أول توثيق لتزاوج هذا الطائر في لبنان".

وتابع البيان "وقد تم تأكيد هذا الحدث وتوثيقه ونشره علمياً من قبل خبير الطيور الدكتور غسان جرادي، هذا وقد أجمع المطلعون على الأمور بلبنان، أن هذا الحدث تم بفضل الحماية المشددة من قبل المعنيين بفرض القانون بإيعاز من الرئيس العماد ميشال عون ووزير البيئة فادي جريصاتي، ووزيرة الداخلية ريا الحسن، ورئيس الهيئة الوطنية للمرأة كلودين عون، الذين اعطوا أهمية قصوى للتوعية وإنفاذ قانون الصيد البري في فصل الربيع مما أعطى الفرصة لطيور كهذه، أن تتخذ من لبنان مكاناً للتكاثر بأمان لأول مرة، على أمل ان يطبق قانون الصيد البري بتشديد أكثر وعلى كافة المناطق".

وبدورنا في "إليسار نيوز" ننوه بالجهود المبذولة من الجمعية، والمعنيين، في سبيل جعل لبنان وسمائه ممر سلام للطيور المهاجرة منها والمقيمة، ونتابع بدورنا الإضاءة على المبادرات الإيجابية التي تقوم بها جمعية "حماية الطبيعة في لبنان" والجمعيات الناشطة في هذا المجال، بالإضافة لكافة المبادرات من ناشطين مستقلين، على أمل أن تصبح هذه الثقافة والوعي القاعدة، والتعديات استثناء!

The Society of Protection of Nature In Lebanon shared with our site “Elissar News” this great video with a statement in both Arabic and English documenting the reproduction of a rare bird for the first time in Lebanon, saying that:

This video, is taken by SPNL team member Maher Osta, is the first evidence for A Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps Cristatus) feeding a chick after breeding in Lebanon. The event was confirmed, documented, and scientifically published by leading ornithologist Dr. Ghassan Jaradi. All followers of the hunting situation in Lebanon agree that such an event was made possible by the extreme protection provided by the personnel involved in implementing the law, under strict orders from president General Michel Aoun and Ministers Mr. Fady Jreissati, Mrs.Raya Haffar El Hassan, and the President of NCLW Mrs. Claudine Aoun Roukoz, who gave extreme priority to stop springtime shooting and raise awareness, which gave a chance for such birds to successfully breed in Lebanon for the first time. Hoping for more implications of the hunting law on all territories.

Accordingly, in "Elissar News", we note the efforts of SPNL and other NGOs working in the field of the protection of wildlife in Lebanon, as well as activists, and we try to shed light on all these initiative so as to make the skies over Lebanon safe for migratory and resident birds, hoping this culture and awareness will be the main stream and the infringements will be the exception!
